As heating and cooling technologies rapidly improve, industry insiders are rapidly moving to get in on the latest trends. That's why they're eager to meet every year and check out the most recent innovations in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration. This year, the biggest names in the HVACR industry will gather together at the AHR Expo, to be held from Jan. 21 to Jan. 23 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

About the AHR Expo
The AHR Expo is an annual convention for all the industry leaders in HVACR, and this year, it's in the Big Apple. Innovators in a variety of markets will converge in New York to demonstrate their newest and most exciting products. Expo-goers will have a chance to see new refrigerators, air conditioners, ventilators, plumbing products and of course, thermal energy storage devices.

This get-together represents an exciting opportunity for people in the industry to discover new products and meet new people.

In 2014, the AHR Expo is primed to be even bigger than it already was, offering HVACR professionals a chance to network in a face-to-face setting. Everyone in the industry communicates regularly via emails, phone calls, webinars and more - but this event is a chance to network with the world in the flesh.

Stationed at Booth 1018 at the AHR Expo, CALMAC will have its very own space to display its products and meet with anyone who's interested in its products. Specifically, people will have a chance to see the company's IceBank energy storage systems up close and personal.

CALMAC's IceBank storage devices are made in the United States but sold internationally, serving more than 4,000 projects worldwide in over 35 countries. The IceBank is the next generation of air conditioning - it's a single-piece, heavywall construction with no seams or penetration. It's sturdy and dependable for even heavy industrial use.

At the AHR Expo, CALMAC will have a tank at the booth that visitors can feel free to see, touch and feel. The tank includes a cutaway section that people can look through to get a glimpse inside the tank. At its considerable dimensions - 74" by 76.5" by 102" - the tank is big enough to deliver impressive results, but not so bulky that it will dominate your facility's space.

Tour our installations
The AHR Expo is run behind the scenes by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers. To support the event, ASHRAE will be offering tours of two CALMAC installations, giving people another opportunity to view the company's products up close and personal.

For convention attendees who are interested, there will be a chance to view CALMAC's work firsthand both at Rockefeller Center and at the New School University Center. People can witness for themselves how well thermal energy storage works.
