The State of Florida’s 232,000 square foot Regional Service Center, operating in the humid SW Florida climate, utilizes a 42-tank ICEBANK® thermal-storage system, which has saved the owner over $420,000 in electricity, water, sewer, and maintenance costs over the past three years.

The complete HVAC plant was installed for $325/ton less than the bid for a regular non-thermal storage HVAC plant. The system received a 1996 Award of engineering excellence from the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc.
